Jimmy Adams Promotions is a Nashville-based professional boxing promotion company founded by Jimmy Adams — a protege of Hall of Fame promoter Don King who has spent 50 years in the fight game. His first fighter as a manager was heavyweight legend Earnie Shavers.
In 1997 he promoted 47 fights in a single year, helping make Tennessee the #2 boxing state in America. In 2023 he founded the Country Box series in Nashville — monthly professional boxing cards fused with live country music concerts, now running at Plaza Mariachi with 43+ shows and counting.
Country Box airs on national television (Dish 218, Xfinity 1495, Fios 662, DirecTV 242) and streams worldwide on FITE.TV. In August 2026, Mayweather Promotions partnered with Country Box.
